Write precise song-revision instructions in AIMusixer

Use Smart refine in AIMusixer to request lyric, style, instrument or section changes with a 500-character instruction, then review the new generation against the saved source.

Follow this guide in the studio ↗

AIMusixer Smart refine uses the source audio, style and lyrics as context for your instruction. Define the scope first, then request a change you can verify by listening to the new version.

Open the tool for your song

Open My Music Collection → song details in AIMusixer, find the completed version you want and click its Smart refine button. It is directly on the song card. Check the reference audio and title so the instruction applies to the intended version.

Understand what gets regenerated

Smart refine needs a completed source with an available audio reference and duration. Your original stays saved, and the result is a new generation. Even with preservation instructions, the voice, timing, melody or other details may change. This is different from selecting a timed range for lyric replacement.

The instruction field accepts up to 500 characters. An eligible paid account and sufficient balance are required; the current cost is 2 credits. Check the amount on the submit button. Do not submit several requests because a result has not appeared immediately.

Write the scope, change and preservation request

Name the scope: the whole song, verse two, the final chorus or every occurrence of a repeated line. For lyric edits, quote the original phrase and the replacement. Number multiple changes and say whether repeated words should change once or throughout. You do not need to paste the whole lyric sheet into a short revision instruction.

For arrangement changes, name something audible: reduce the drums, bring the piano forward, add restrained backing harmonies, or make the final chorus build gradually. For vocal direction, describe softer delivery or more natural phrase endings. Avoid vague requests such as “make it professional”; they do not tell you what to check afterwards.

Use the examples, then listen critically

The panel offers examples for lyrics and style, with further suggestions for instruments, vocals, mood and sections. Selecting one fills the instruction field. Edit it to match your song, remove irrelevant changes and submit the request.

When the new version completes, check every requested change and listen to unaffected sections too. A stronger chorus is not necessarily a better result if a verse loses its intended meaning. If only one goal was missed, refine that instruction rather than adding several new demands. Start again from the original when a new version has moved away from the song you wanted to preserve.

For accurate time-bound wording changes with usable lyric timing, consider section editing. For a whole-song genre reinterpretation with reviewed lyrics and a dedicated style field, consider Cover. Adding singing to a backing track has its own tool and requires the lyrics you want sung.

Try a focused version

For a restrained piano study, write: “In the final chorus, replace ‘Rain settles on the glass’ with ‘Dawn gathers on the glass’. Keep the other lyrics and try to preserve the melody and vocal character.” Check that the requested occurrence changed and earlier choruses did not. For an arrangement experiment, request “sparse piano, quiet bass and a measured rhythmic pulse” separately so you can tell which instruction caused the difference.
