Generate vocals for a selected music section in AIMusixer
Add vocals in AIMusixer: choose a music section, enter lyrics and optional style, generate a new song, and learn how to reuse a separated backing track.
Follow this guide in the studio ↗AIMusixer Add vocals combines a selected source-audio range with your lyric input. Use it when the music exists and the missing part is singing, then verify how the newly generated vocal and arrangement work together.
Open the tool for your song
In AIMusixer, open My Music Collection at /musics, enter the song’s detail page and find the correct completed song card. Choose More → Add vocals. A record can contain several results, so preview the particular card before opening the operation.
Choose a usable musical source
Use a completed song already in your library or upload an MP3 or M4A you have rights to use. Wait until an upload has finished processing. For a clean vocal result, start with a backing track without a prominent existing lead vocal. Old singing left in the source can make the new version harder to judge.
The operation requires paid access and enough credits. The current generation cost is 1 credit, separate from an upload or stem-separation charge. Read the amount shown before submitting. This panel does not offer a verified-voice selector, so do not expect uploading a song to assign your own vocal identity.
Select the passage and enter lyrics
Drag the two range handles and preview the selection. Start and end inside the source duration, choose a positive-length interval, and avoid cutting a word or musical phrase at the boundary. A verse, chorus or complete short backing track gives the lyric a clearer musical context than an arbitrary few seconds.
Give the new version a title, with an 80-character limit. Lyrics are required and can contain up to 5,000 characters. The optional style field allows up to 1,000 characters for genre, mood, instrumentation or vocal direction. Put the words to be sung in Lyrics and the sound description in Style; instructions inside the lyric may be interpreted as part of the performance.
Reuse a favorite accompaniment
For an owned song whose backing you like, use vocal separation and download the instrumental file. Listen for remaining lead vocals, then upload the backing track as a new library item. Open Add vocals on that item and enter your new words. Keep the full original mix and separated files so you can compare which source works better.
Submit once and find the new result in your history. Listen to the lyric entry, intelligibility, breathing space and final phrase. The operation generates new audio; it does not promise that every sample of the accompaniment remains unchanged. If words feel crowded, shorten the lyric or choose a more suitable passage. If a whole new backing is the goal, use Add instrumental instead.
Try a focused version
For a restrained piano study, choose one complete chorus and write four short lines around your central idea. A useful direction is “sparse piano, quiet bass and a measured rhythmic pulse.” First test whether the words fit the rhythm; only then expand the lyric or request a different delivery. Preserve the source and name the result clearly before using Smart refine for further changes.
